Greetings and happy holidays!

Well, hard to believe but here we are in December. The year is winding down and I’m happy to report it’s been a *fantastic one*. Besides enjoying great success with my (non-art) freelancing business, I’ve been able to travel extensively, spend so much quality time with friends and family, and make so much fulfilling art!

I’m still actively working on the “34” Series and previewed the first 7 of the completed works in November at the 2018 Vallejo Open Studios  They were well received and looked gorgeous hanging in my friend Sherry Tobin’s Art House. (A whimsical, magically decorated house full of her amazing mosaic art that is also available as an AirBnb getaway rental!)

As I head into 2019 I am going to continue working on the series with an anticipated finish of Spring 2019. Besides the ambitious “34″ I already have several other series planned for the new year.

As I look forward to 2019 I’m excited to share more of what I’m working on and shift even more of my time and energy towards painting.  I’m posting more often on my Instagram these days, so be sure to follow me to see the latest work in progress videos and behind the scenes clips! Also don’t forget if you’re still looking for a great holiday gift for the special folks in your life, check out my page at Fine Art America where you can buy prints and other unique gifts featuring my original art!

March 2018 Updates

Greetings! Time flies when you’re having fun, right? I though I should take a moment with the new month to brush aside the tumbleweeds blowing through the streets of my blog and provide at least a bit of an update. 2018 has been very fun and busy so far! I took my my first solo trip abroad in January, and then was working the “day job” quite a bit to balance out aforementioned trip. Besides my freelance work, the end of January and most of February were spent working on a super secret art-related project that I can’t talk about *just* yet but… *soon*.  🙂

In all that I did also manage to finish up a five-painting series I started at the end of last year.   I’ve just uploaded the series to the gallery, as well as my prints site. Here is the latest work for your enjoyment. It’s part of a series I’m calling “Relating.”

October Update

Hey all! I’m hard at work this month getting ready for Vallejo Open Studios 2017.  I don’t do a lot of shows so if you’re in the Bay Area this is a rare chance to pickup my original paintings, prints, and cards in person!

A sneak peek at one of the paintings i’ll be showing at the event

I have been working behind the scenes on a brand new series- six large paintings and a dozen small pieces. You can get all the info for the show by visiting vallejoopenstudios.com
