Greetings and happy holidays!

Well, hard to believe but here we are in December. The year is winding down and I’m happy to report it’s been a *fantastic one*. Besides enjoying great success with my (non-art) freelancing business, I’ve been able to travel extensively, spend so much quality time with friends and family, and make so much fulfilling art!

I’m still actively working on the “34” Series and previewed the first 7 of the completed works in November at the 2018 Vallejo Open Studios  They were well received and looked gorgeous hanging in my friend Sherry Tobin’s Art House. (A whimsical, magically decorated house full of her amazing mosaic art that is also available as an AirBnb getaway rental!)

As I head into 2019 I am going to continue working on the series with an anticipated finish of Spring 2019. Besides the ambitious “34″ I already have several other series planned for the new year.

As I look forward to 2019 I’m excited to share more of what I’m working on and shift even more of my time and energy towards painting.  I’m posting more often on my Instagram these days, so be sure to follow me to see the latest work in progress videos and behind the scenes clips! Also don’t forget if you’re still looking for a great holiday gift for the special folks in your life, check out my page at Fine Art America where you can buy prints and other unique gifts featuring my original art!

  1. Hey Laura,

Surprise, Surprise! John Dougall here – former first chair banjo player for B. F. Just wanted to say how much I like these latest paintings you have made!! Deb likes them too. I just showed them to her and she let out at least a dozen “WOWS.” Dig the Art Car as well. To think I knew you back when….

    1. Oh my goodness! Sorry I didn’t see this until now. Wow! That’s awesome John, so good to hear from you!! Aww thank you so much for the kind words! I’m glad Deb digs the paintings too. I hope this finds both of you well. 🙂
