Description

“Year Twenty-Three” is the twenty-fourth painting in the “34” Series by Laura Noel, completed in 2018-2019. The series was an experiment in “abstract as autobiography,” where each painting of the series was meant to loosely represent a year of the artist’s life.

A few words about “Year Twenty-Three” from the artist:

This was my “Bonus” Senior year where I switched my major to comply with program changes my school made. After graduation, I traveled to Greece with my mom. The band recruited two more members and put out a second album called “Liberty”.
