Description

“A Plan Set in Motion” is a large scale painting I finished in June of 2020. It measures 30×40” and was a visual exploration of the idea of making a big move. Since the pandemic started I’ve been kicking around the idea of relocating either to the Oregon Coast or back up to Washington State to be closer to my immediate family. Both this painting and its’ companion piece “An Ocean Calling” explore this feeling of wanderlust. This painting incorporates an element recurring in many of my paintings- A Pathway. I love using paths, especially when they trail off into a distant unknown. There is something magical and grounding to me about a good path.
